About Carver, Massachusetts

Carver is a town in Plymouth County with a population of 11,645 as of the 2020 census. Named for John Carver, the first governor of the Plymouth Colony, the town was incorporated on June 9, 1790 from the South Precinct of Plympton.

Carver is known as the cranberry capital of the world, with vast cranberry bogs covering much of the town. It's also home to two popular tourist attractions: Edaville USA theme park and King Richard's Faire, the largest Renaissance faire in New England.
